Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider

So my family tends to drive a lot so we have started getting audio books to listen to in the car to help pass the time. The last audio book we listened to was Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider. This book has been described as John Green and Rainbow Rowell coming together... And that is totally accurate. As someone who enjoys both John Green and Rainbow Rowell as authors, I loved this book. It had the depressing wanting to cry all the time bit of Fault in the Stars and the cute, funny, unperfectly perfect love story of Elanor and Park. The main characters, Lane and Sadie are depressingly sarcastic and so much fun to listen to (read about??). You can find it at the Almonte Public Library in the teen section. "At seventeen, overachieving Lane finds himself at Latham House, a sanatorium for teens suffering from an incurable strain of tuberculosis. Part hospital and part boarding school, Latham is a place of endless rules and confusing rituals, where it's easier to fail breakfast than it is to flunk French." http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23149128-extraordinary-means
