Author Visit
So the author visit at the Almonte Public Library was a huge success!
Emilie-Rose and I had the luck to get to stay for a presentation by Amanda West Lewis on her book, The Pact, a fascinating novel written from the point of view of a German child during the Second World War. We both learned so much about perspective and the importance of always considering it, when looking at a historical event. Inspirational and fun night. Definitely a book I am looking forward to reading!
